Class Trip to the ROM part 2

Another class in the ROM on Tuesday. The first hour we had a discussion class near the library, and the second hour we looked at different Buddhist art. I actually like having the class at the ROM, but during the discussion time I am so unmotivated to say anything. It is like you come all the way to the ROM and you have to stay in a room and discuss your own opinions.  I am like brain dead, haha.

I preordered this figure before but canceled it later.  Then I had the urge to buy it because of Saku showing off his pictures! I found this on eBay and won the auction for $10.50US and then like $12 shipping. Sweet!

Another unproductive day

I am so easily distracted while studying. I have 1 more midterm on Monday and did not study at all today.

I was going through my old trick videos and it’s cool seeing how you progress over the years. I really want to start tricking again asap. Last year was the worst. Only tricked till like end of June or beginning of July. If you remember, it was like raining everyday that summer. Here is an infinite handstand push ups that I did last summer. Some how my gifs are not loading. Got to click on the image to see it.

I was out driving and I hate the drivers that wants to make a right turn on a red light but you are in front and they start honking at you. Chill man..it does not say that this is a right turn lane only.  What I do for this occasion is to accelerate extremely slow when the lights turn green. Then the back car starts honking wildly.

Class trip to the ROM

This is the second time I have ever been to the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum). First time was another class trip with the same prof but in a different but similar course.  The course I am currently taking is a seminar in Buddhist art. Only reason I took it is because there is no midterm or final.

My Second Otaku Gathering

What an awkward turnout for the night with 40 confirmed and only 10 showed. Met up with Rin and Saku. Hopefully they will upload the pictures in their blog. I didn’t know anyone else, but it was great meeting new faces. Met many interesting otakus and another blogger GNdynames.

While driving to Club 300 I passed by Pacific Mall and it was surrounded with police cars. The exits were blocked so whoever was trying to get out got stuck there. This morning I read off the news that there happened to be a shooting inside the mall near closing time.

There were a couple prize drawing and lucky for me that there were enough prizes for everyone. Ended up near last for the draw.

I would like to say thanks again to Rin who set up the gathering and also sponsored some of the prizes. I got drawn for a travel mug! Now I can use this at school! I am so pimp right now. And lastly, I know Saku wanted this, so I’ll torment you for fun

Kaiyodo – Bome: Kiddy Grade

I saw this at Fantasy Box at FMP like couple months ago at 40% off of $45, which is about $30. I thought it was a steal, but I didn’t buy it. Kinda regret it afterward. Went back there recently and they still had. I think $30 for Kiddy Grade pack is a great deal since US retailers are selling it for $40uS?

Wii – Disaster: Day of Crisis

I have finally gotten the chance to play a very anticipated game for the Wii. Instead of working on my assignments, I sat down and played through 80% in a day. Here are some of my thoughts on the game. Mostly it is about my rant. haha

GoodSmile Co. – Pastel Ink – Nendoroid

Awwwww….this nendoroid is so cute. Here we have Pastel Ink from Moetan. Pastel Ink is a magical girl who suppose to teach this guy English. That is all I know since I did not watch the anime. I have always wanted this figure for quite awhile but couldn’t justify to buy it.  Nonetheless it is just too cute and I had to buy it in the end.

Konami – Figumate Vol. 1- The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

These were one of my earlier figures in my collection, and my first trading figures.   I got these  my first Anime North convention. I remembered that I had to buy something because I didn’t get much at the convention.
